Isn't kicking the fox out of the hen house the right thing to do?
if you want to protect the chickens and their eggs, of course!
How can I get involved in this "movement"?!

I subscribe to the Revolving Door Project newsletter - they report on a lot of funny business that people probably want to know about.
I'm sorry but this is bonkers. Of course there should always be a concerted effort to kick out infiltrators who attempt to co-opt an organization in order to neutralize it. There's nothing wrong with opposing your opposition.
Would Matt Yglesias say that climate activists need to invite fossil fuel industry lobbyists into their coalition? It's like saying that labor unions should just have management and executives of companies involved in making decisions for the union. Or ask anti-monopolists to coalition with the executives of monopoly corporations to come up with policy ideas. Or put hospital executives on the board making policy decisions on how much hospitals should spend on infection control, according to guidelines by that committee.
That just doesn't make sense.
I guess what this means is that people like Matt Yglesias think that there should be no opposition to business interests, ever, and that ordinary people should have no representation in government at all.
I'm not sure who told these people that democracy is wealthy elites having turf battles where they rev up the peasants to fight their battles. I'm pretty sure there's another term for that form of government.
Giving ordinary people no choices and little material representation is what led us here - and may lead to worse.
For example, poor and middle class people are never allowed to criticize "the job creators" or you're branded "a loser" - so you're given no choices than that you MUST blame immigration law and by extension, the immigrants, or just put up and shut up. Absolutely it's never allowed to direct any criticism or anger at elites in positions of power who are treating people badly, or ruining stuff, or not living up to their part of any social contract, or providing substandard services, or even killing people.
They try to make us forget that the only reason for businesses to exist is to serve people. People operating businesses are in SERVICE to other humans, otherwise there's no point in running a business. And they should answer to the ordinary people they serve.
There are always a few different axis in the political spectrum, and when elites prevent ordinary people from having a say in our own lives, and force us to watch elites on both sides, including Democrats who are supposed to represent us, give large sums to the already elite rich - while the elites on both sides talk down to ordinary people about not expecting "handouts", and force everyone into nonsense trickle down economics ideas only. Then the miserable situation of course sometimes leads to unrest, or worse, and elite manipulation of the masses into horizontal transgressions are almost inevitable. It's been shown throughout history.
Elite panic means they never see what's causing the problem because their salaries depend upon causing the problem.
We have to keep reminding the people in positions of power that we’re here, and we’re paying attention.
