Don't wait for everybody. And don't wait for some savior from another planet - and definitely don't wait for saving by some billionaire on this planet. We can do this, all of us who care, together.

I know that apocalyptic hopium is at once funny and alluring. But there’s no karma when it comes to who gets diseases, and there’s no inherent justice to be found in climate change. There will be no ah-ha moment or tipping point that brings on magical solutions. Things won’t just “shake out” right by themselves.
Eugenics is a pseudoscience, and in practice, it is profoundly unjust.
Political change won’t just happen by magic because enough people are fed up.
It takes work by some people to make it happen.
Luckily we already know it doesn’t take everyone. So don’t wait for everybody!
And definitely don’t wait for the elites who are busy panicking with their own upside down priorities!

We need to urge the people who already agree with us to speak up, and then we might find that we’re actually in the majority after all. “Pluralistic Ignorance” refers to the phenomenon where people holding very popular views mistakenly believe their viewpoint is weird, when in reality most people agree with them, they just don’t know it.
Elite Panic.
Elite panic is one reason we can’t rely on elite saviors or rich people just making the right decisions on our most existential and practical problems, nor rely on politicians to represent the public interest without considerable pressure from we the people. Change is possible, but we’re going to have to work to make the people in charge do that.
