The public comment was at the CDC ACIP meeting that was livestreamed on youtube: Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) - December 4, 2025 - Day 1 of 2 - Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
In my comment I reference remarks made by Demetre Daskalakis that I heard him make in an interview at The Bulwark on youtube: The FDA’s Vaccine Death Email Looks Like a Political Stunt (w/ Demetre Daskalakis) - The Bulwark

So today was the CDC’s ACIP meeting. That’s the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices. And they were making determination about universal hepatitis B vaccination for babies. And of course, you know, right before this meeting, like things changed. More anti-vax people have been put into place. And I was chosen to give public comment at the meeting.
And I have to say, logging into Zoom and, you know, with Robert Malone, at the head of the proceedings and... At one point, he said that Robert Malone asked somebody to repeat a question because he said he got distracted and wasn’t listening. And the meeting was like, the public comments were supposed to be at 2 p.m.
I got there at like quarter of, but they were pushed back and pushed back. And I kept getting emails saying, you know, here’s another delay, a delay, a delay. I’m not even sure. I think it was like, it seems petty to like, even in the face of the horrendous stuff going on with this meeting,
to complain about like the keeping to a schedule or respecting anybody’s time or But It just goes to show that this goes with also like poor management. It’s not just about misinformation or poorly done science or whatever. So anyway, here’s my public comment.

Hi, I’m Chloe Humbert. Demetre Daskalakis said in an interview recently that the idea of testing out of the birth dose of the hepatitis B vaccine ignores the fact that a significant amount of babies get infected from people in their household other than mom.
And when it’s transmitted, I read that hepatitis B is up to 100 times more contagious than HIV. Demetre warned that public health contrarians, not his, he said that some people might claim hepatitis B doesn’t happen to quote-unquote normal families. I certainly hoped he was wrong about that,
but I’m so appalled and embarrassed for anyone who would say stuff like that. Over 20 years ago, I did photography at a local AIDS awareness walk in Pennsylvania. It was a memorial for someone who is then described as quote-unquote a normal boy. He was transformed into a courageous young AIDS activist in the 1990s after getting
HIV from a blood transfusion. His name was Christopher Robinson, and he died 25 years ago, the same week as my father, actually. But Christopher was just 18 years old. None of us are safe until we’re all safe. Vaccines are public health. They’re for all of us, broadly, universally, including babies.
There’s not a vaccine for HIV, but there are vaccines for a lot of threats to public safety. And vaccines have been allowing so many of us who might not have otherwise to pursue life, liberty and happiness and for longer. And I don’t want that to stop.
Certainly not because a few people are fearful and misinformed or have grossly bigoted opinions. the taxpayers, pay for the health agencies to protect the public with modern medicine, including interventions like vaccines. We’re not paying for y’all to play games based on eugenics, which is a pseudoscience and also immoral and deranged in any case. Dr. Demetre Daskalakis also
mentioned in that interview that the Insurance Association is disregarding the ACIP recommendations now because they don’t trust the committee. the insurance industry is notoriously careful about avoiding financially risky and bad information. So that’s notable. I’ve been unhappy with the CDC for over 20 years, and yet my estimation of this institution couldn’t be lower.
But we still have free speech rights in this country, so I’m going to go on the record. I’ve been thinking that maybe this is really the natural expected endpoint of an agency that has for decades operated public health based on business interests. like the cattle industry and commercial airlines. Thank you.
ROBERT MALONE
Uh, Thank you.
