The Abundance agenda is totally gaslit.
The Abundance Agenda really represents a bunch of people who want to hold their world together with the cheeks of their asses.
Abundance is about deregulating so crypto printing Trump people can burn tires in Pennsylvania. And that's why the buffoon boondoggle bill includes something about prohibiting any regulation on AI.
Sam Seder was on The Vanguard railing against Abundance and pointed out that nobody ever discusses the other author's parts of the book, only that of Ezra Klein. I hadn't even known until now that this ridiculous book had two authors. I have no intention of reading that nonsense as it didn't pass even an initial sniff test for me. It immediately struck me as a deregulation libertarian fantasyland to hellscape pipeline nonsense. Because if not wanting a vibrating data center in my neighborhood burning tires and coal waste makes me "NIMBY" then I don't think that's wrong.
Sam Seder mentioned that OpenAI is funding the Abundance agenda stuff, and that's certainly interesting because in my county here in northeastern Pennsylvania, a data center for AI is now planned where previously a housing development was planned, and needed.
One of The Vanguard hosts said about the Abundance agenda: "reminds me of what I imagine being a Democrat in the 90s was like when you kept hearing a bunch of stupid __." And yes, I was there, I remember it, and yes this Abundance bs is very reminiscent of the 1990s for me, except at least I know tons more people who think it's bs too. Back then mostly it was just a union member guy lecturing me about opposing such thinking and policies. I was young then.
They're trying to re-animate the same bs that got us here. The Abundance Agenda really represents a bunch of people who want to hold their world together with the cheeks of their asses.
